Keynote Speaker Toby Kiers

The evening begins with a lecture by Toby Kiers, Professor of Mutualistic Interactions at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her groundbreaking research into the collaboration between plants and fungi offers unique insights into the hidden world beneath our feet. Toby Kiers will reveal how fungi operate according to economic principles, exchanging nutrients with plant roots. This lecture will forever change your perspective on nature.

Fungi: Web of Life

Following the lecture, there will be the stunning film "Fungi: Web of Life" shown in the dome of the ARTIS-Planetarium.
